Minobuyama Okunoin Shishinkaku Majestic cedar planted by the hands of Saint Nichiren Four large cedar trees over 700 years old It's stunning. As the name of Shishinkaku suggests, Nichiren Saint is far away. This is the place where I prayed for my parents in Boshu, Awa Province. Shishinkaku is a hall that remembers parents. I received a goshuin stamp.

This is the inner temple of Mt. Minobu Kuonji Temple, and can be easily reached using the Mt. Minobu Ropeway. Okunoin is a power spot where four large cedar trees said to have been planted by Saint Nichiren still remain as sacred trees. I felt a renewed sense of strength in this sacred place.

Beautiful temple. We also took the rope way up and enjoyed the breathtaking views.
