Chill public space to enjoy some food or beverages from the surrounding stalls. Several pop-up restaurants and food trucks along the perimeter during summer months. Uminoie Coffee Stand being the permanent fixture. Lots of benches and makeshift canvas parasols shading the beach folk.

Nice spot for a quick bite or some lunch. Amazing view but be careful as it can be a tiny bit windy as expected so make sure your food doesn’t flying away. As a Brit I wouldn’t really call what I ordered “fish and chips”, more like fried fish pieces and fries, but it was fresh and tasty nevertheless! Staff were extremely polite and helpful. Would come back again.

It was around 6:30 pm and we were looking for a place to eat dinner. It seems that everywhere it is closed. The last shop we saw was also closing up. The other day it was hard to find a place that’s still open for dinner, and it was past 8pm. We are wondering what time do the people in the area actually eat dinner?

Great spot right on the beach. Everyone who works there is really friendly and the vibe is great. We ate at three of the five different shops and all were quite good. We liked “The Shokudo” best with their nice quality plate lunch style. The prices are very reasonable considering the specialty of the location and summer only business model. Highly recommend a visit. You will probably find yourself going back more than once.
