I have enjoyed this wonderful park through each of the four seasons. Whether listening to the birds of Spring or observing silence while watching falling snow in Winter, this place is perfect for overlooking Sapporo.

My driver took me here after my visit to Mount Moiwa Ropeway. We can in the evening so I couldn’t really see the grandeur of the park. However, this park does boast an amazing view of the Sapporo city skyline in the evening. The park reminded me of an amphitheater as there was many step levels to sit a rest. The top of the level of the park has a clock tower. This would be an ideal spot to take a date as you can see the city lights and best of all……it is free.

Breathtaking view of Sapporo city. Not crowded and opened in winter. Free parking with a vending machine with hot drinks.

The park is nice and free. Just a short walk from the parking lot, you can enjoy a good view of Sapporo. The cafe and restrooms open at 10am-5pm.
