Good castle to visit in atami. Take bus from station and it charges 300 per ride and 800 JPY for unlimited dudes for 1 day. Get down at atami Jo stop and enjoy the castle Adult 1100 and junior high student 600 - only for castle entry There is also trick museum with adult 1100 JPY and kids 600 JPY You can buy set ticket for both. Great view from 6th floor of castle. You can enjoy free massage chair and also ashi onsen for free. Basement 1 there are free game zone for kids. Every 30 minutes there is a bus available to atami station. Last bus is around 16:15 Recommend place to visit Remember: you can't walk from station to castle. It is pretty far.

I recommend getting to the castle by using the ropeway. There are food stalls around the castle. There is no point in visiting the castle (as is with most Japanese castles) itself. It's the view you are here to enjoy.

Good view of the city but overpriced at $1,100 yen. There is a free footbath at the top which is nice though. ♨️ Beware: The castle is not original. Apparently it was planned to be made but never made, so quite disappointing in that sense. Good transport as the tour bus stops in front of the castle 🏯 Samurai museums and other things in the building also.

Nice place to see the sea and Atami downtown. The castle itself is not so recommended but you have to pay the entrance fee to see the scenery from the top. you can also enjoy foot bath seeing the sea. if you bring your car you can park in front of the castle with 500 yen

Rich history very well preserved in many eras of its illustrious history. They have a monkey performer every hour, on the hour from 1200 until 5pm (if i recall correctly). Lots of paintings, exhibits and other items preserved from its long life it had in this historic spot.
