Azuchi Castle Museum
700 Azuchichō Konaka, Omihachiman, Shiga 521-1343, Japan
Azuchi Castle Museum is housed in a striking, Japanese-style building adjoining the plaza of JR Azuchi Station, a couple of miles from the site of the castle itself. The exhibits offer a good understanding of what the castle was like, and the atmosphere of Oda Nobunaga’s reign in the Ōmi region.

Small but well run museum. They have so many samurai and castle seals. The ladies running it are very nice. 200 yen entry.

Small museum with a short movie and impressive replica of top tiers of the castle. Lovely helpful staff.

There's a model of Azuchi castle , Oda Nobunaga's castle, that is separated in order to show the inner. It's very specific.

Man, it is amazing. There are so many exhibits and you really can learn a lot about the history of Oda Nobunaga. All Japanese castles fans must know that the Azuchi Castle was burnt down for unknown reason, so it's been really intriguing to find out how's the castle like when it's still there hundreds of years ago. What's the most spectacular is that a simulation of the castle is on display there!! And it can even be opened and let visitors view the interior of the castle. All done by experts based on some remained draft paper. Isn't it amazing? And people there is so nice too that they accompanied and explained to us about all sorts of things. It's a must-see for all fans!!
