On the second floor of Sounzan Station, which is the transfer station for the cable car and ropeway heading to Owakudani in Hakone, there is a spectacular view from the observation terrace where you can enjoy a free footbath on the same floor as the cafe and souvenir shop "cu-mo Hakone"! If it's a clear day, you can see Sagami Bay beyond the mountains of Hakone, and if you bring a good telephoto camera, you can see Jogashima in Miura City and Soleil Hill in the distance. You can see Mt. Nokogiri in Chiba Prefecture. If you're lucky, you might see a high-speed jet boat heading for the Izu Islands sailing through Tokyo Bay... No one would take a boat here unless they really like things (lol)

Mountain view, forest view, a bit of sea view, overall a beautiful view. My symptoms during the cold season were good. Take the cable car and see Mount Fuji. See the source of the hot springs

Perfect little spot if you're traveling with the Hakone pass. The observation deck is fantastic and you can enjoy the view and a foot onsen at the same time. There is a gift shop and a cafe, so it is an ideal place to relax before you get on the cable car to reach the lake.

When I got off Mt. Sounzan by cable car, there was no guide sign for Kumo. When I asked the station staff, I was told that it was the ropeway platform, which had just gone up to the second floor. Outside Kumo. The Hakone mountain range, including Mt. Kintoki, is spectacular. There are 10 footbath chairs. Based on the reviews, it seems like it's not easy to get a seat, so I went there around 9am and there were 7 people sitting, but 3 seats were empty! lucky! The water temperature is hot. After 5 minutes, my calves turned bright red. The scenery is also very good. You might even be able to see a sea of clouds. The souvenir shop doesn't open until after 10 o'clock. However, I wanted a retro towel, so I asked for one and had the cash register open for me.

Not bad for a tourist souvenir shop and cafe. Since it's a transfer station between the cable car and ropeway not many people stop for long here, so it's much quieter than the shops at Owakudani.
