I took my elementary and junior high school children there. A wonderful museum with extensive permanent exhibitions. Exhibits historical culture and buildings from the Jomon period to modern times. Admission fees are reasonable and you can have fun learning. The children worked hard on the earthenware puzzle.

This is a history and folklore museum located in Minamiiyo City. It's difficult to get to because it's located on a mountainside a little far from the center of Uno-cho, but it's a large museum that's worth seeing. The permanent exhibition introduces the history of Ehime Prefecture from ancient times to modern times through historical materials and reconstructed models. In addition, there is also a special exhibition room. As a prefectural museum, I think it is one of the best in the country in terms of size and completeness. It is not well-known because it is located in a remote area, but those who are interested in history and geography will definitely enjoy it. The road to the facility is steep, so we recommend accessing by car.

We spent a couple of hours in this impressive museum. Would need much more time to fully take in the experience and history here.

Excellent museum, very spacious and modern in appearance. Good exhibits and a very stunning building!
