Very good place to visit to see the history of fukuoka and hakata, everything has English subtitles and if it doesn't google translate picture features works fine. There is the 2 different area you can go with the main ticket. To buy ticket you need to go up stairs, definitely worth the money from the knowledge you learn

Visited the Togashi Yoshihiro exhibition at Fukuoka City Museum on a lively Saturday 📅, and it was like stepping into a world of cherished memories! The exhibition, celebrating 35 years of Togashi's incredible manga career, was a deep dive into his creative genius 🎨. Seeing originals of 'Yu Yu Hakusho', 'Level E', and 'Hunter x Hunter' was a blast from the past 🌟. Plus, the chance to snag some limited edition souvenirs was a dream come true for a fan like me! 🛍️ Absolutely a must-visit for fans and newcomers alike to appreciate the artistry of a manga legend 🌈.

¥200 will get you access to the permanent exhibit with tons of knowledge and culture. Loved it. I wouldn't come all the way to this area for the museum but if you're planning on going to the zoo or the Fukuoka tower, then this might be worth your time

My family went there for the Ghibli exhibition. Don’t buy the tickets for weekdays online in advanced. We got plain text tickets from Lawson but others had gorgeous tickets with Chihiro logos from the box office inside the museum 😞

This museum had a very interesting and dynamic exhibition of the history of the area. The exhibitions were in different kinds of art, puppet, wood, paper, etc really worth watching. Later there is an exhibition of the different traditions and festivals that is incredible, especially the carriages from the summer festival. It was a wonderful experience!
