Hakuto (White Rabbit) Jinja is a Shinto #Shrine in #Tottori. It is the setting of the myth of the White Rabbit of Inabane. It is one of the nicest #Shrine l have ever seen. It is believed that the Shrine's power is to relief from burns and other skin conditions. The shrine is located in a very peaceful pond in the forest with Mitarashi pond where ducks were swimming peacefully.

Quick stop to see the bunny. There is a restaurant and shop. They sell local coffee. Think the bathroom is 24 hours

This is a rather small but important shrine, one of the major love shrine in Japan. The main animal theme is Rabbit so it's also a place for rabbits lovers to visit.

This is the place where the legend of the Hare of Inaba took place. The rock where the hare started to cross the waters can be seen in the distance (there is a tori-i gate on it). Recommend to go by car/taxi, otherwise take the bus that runs once in an hour.
