I didn't have a pass, but I was able to take a tour. It wasn't anything special, but it was nice to be able to go upstairs.

A townhouse from the early 18th century. In the Edo period, the hardware store Matabei (Kanamata) After the Meiji era, Terada Matasaburo (Teramata) Owned by Mr. Tsuneoka in Meiji 20 This building has the basic structure of a large townhouse in Imai-cho, with a so-called 2 rows and 6 rooms, with a ``street doma'' on the east side and a ``shimomise'' on the north end. Techniques from the late 17th to early 18th centuries, such as the ledger arrangement, grooving, raised doors, smoke vents, and second story, are well preserved. The house had been vacant for a long time and was in general disrepair, so we investigated and repaired it. It is currently open.

I presented my Imai Town pass and was given a tour of the facility. People preparing for some event were busy decorating.
