Very warm welcoming host from the House of Ishiguro. After a brief introduction, you may tour the original home of samurai at will. Lots of armory and literature on display. You may learn a little history and this family's connection with the old era lord. Very interesting place to visit!

Wonderfully preserved samurai house with direct descendants offering short tours inside. They gave a well versed English version too. It's worth a stop!

There are only a few rooms open to the public, but I still think it is worth a visit. Guides will show you the important features of the rooms (in English) and there is a lovely view of the garden.

This tour was worthwhile for the fee charged. We enjoyed walking around the house and getting the introduction from the residents who have apparently lived here for over a century.

We went to this house to see what they had as it looked open in January and was beautiful from the outside. The English tour guide was amazing, friendly, and well spoken. He taught us a lot about his family, the home, and Japanese culture that was new for us and amazing! They also have a small museum in the back. I would recommend this absolutely for anyone. Do not miss!
