A good place to have a general overview of the prefecture. I feel the museum can add more. I only manage to visit 1/3 buildings, maybe there is more. Still a place worth a visit when you are in Kanazawa

I visited this museum because another reviewer falsely claimed that it had a lot of information in English. This turned out not to be true. Only about 2% of the text was translated, and none of the many movie and multimedia exhibits. For people who speak Japanese, this is probably a good museum, but I didn't feel like I got my money's worth, especially since it cost 1300 Yen per adult.

Very immersive atmosphere. The meseum gives an interesting view of the history of Ishikawa with many artefacts and scribes. Amazing museum staff who are available to serve any of your needs as well.

I really enjoyed this museum. It had a lot of English explanations, and is really with a visit.

Interesting! If you see all exhibitions of the 3 building, I bet you'll be exhausted. This history museum tells you a lot about the history of Ishikawa Prefecture.
