Playground areas are great for many ages. Our toddler grandson enjoyed this area and we didn’t pay extra for rides. The entrance fee is cheaper if you buy online unless you are 70 or older. I paid the reduced rate close to 1000 yen at the gate. My son and his wife paid online. There are many rides and you pay extra for each. There weren’t many for under 3 years old, we stayed in the playground area where there were picnic tables and restrooms nearby. My daughter-in-law took the toddler down the very big, long slide on her lap. It was not too fast and free. The dinosaur area was fun. There are steps to go over the go carts, so it is not stroller friendly.

Very good for younger kids. But the zip line is only for kids over 30kg. You have to pay for all rides plus entry fee. There are a couple of restaurants in inside for lunch too.

An absolute must do, even for an overnight stay as a short get away from Tokyo. Allow around 2 hours to explore everything and bring a battery pack for your phone - you'll take a lot of pictures. If you're relying on public transfer check the bus timetables before you go in so you can get back home! It's a magical place with lots to see.

late Dec-2022 Thanks for many prior reviews. Big help. Parking is free for Illumination hours. Parking lot looks big too. You’re supposed to retrieve paper ticket at ticket counter by showing the e-mail sent to you when you buy ticket online. Rebate is available online. Many fun attractions, separate charge - cycling, cart, balloon, flying chair and children's playground (FOC) and many others. Restaurants choices and food stalls are available too. Chairs, swings and benches are available here and there. Lavatories are located near restaurants area and entrance. The park is compact but the walk is very entertaining. Very much recommended. Even children will have lots of fun from day time. Entrance and exit is through the same wicket. Even visiting solo is fun.

We have been there on a Golden week this year with our kids and found it very attractive and amazing. The part has lots of both paid and free of charge attractions for everyone even for adults. The food area also has enough shops where you can eat taste food and of course desserts. Very recommended for families with kids and couples as well. Not so far from Tokyo, about 2 hours drive by car.
