The main building is terrific, a real beauty! But a bit arrogant: “at least 300 years older than Izumo Taisha”, it says. So what? But yes, some like them really old.

A treasure well maintained and close to the city. Worth visiting this place as it is one of the ancient shrines of Japan. The beautiful trail and peaceful atmosphere add to the bliss

It is a little far from the nearest station, but I prefer this shrineeven to Yaegaki shrine. Just so mahnificient.
