I visited this place on my Saigoku 33-sho pilgrimage. I felt warm hospitality everywhere, and I felt very comfortable and grateful when I visited the shrine. It makes me want to visit again. I was given a sutra scroll, a stamp book, and images of Kannon and Prince Shotoku. When I asked for Kannon's body to be wiped, he showed me around the main hall while he was busy at the sutra office, and explained the restoration of the main hall in 2004, the sandalwood specially imported from India, the Gohonzon, the doll tradition, and the incarnation on the pillar. I was very grateful to hear about the origins of the Kannon Dakimakura, which has 33 verses, and the rocky mountains. Sanka after wiping your body is an important place to pray. ``The Path of Proverbs on the Sando'' has many things that resonate with me, and I highly recommend it, as it can be purchased in booklet form at the main hall. This is a wonderful temple located in a scenic and mysterious place where you will be warmly welcomed. I highly recommend it.

Since the road is narrow, I was planning to walk up to the temple, but the man at the tollgate said, ``It's narrow, but there have never been any accidents,'' so I drove up to the temple. It was a narrow path, but I managed to climb it. The proverbs written on the approach to the shrine were all good proverbs. The view from the top of the mountain is also beautiful.

Beautiful temple in the middle of the mountain!

Pretty insane temple on top of a mountain. You have to drive up half way and then hike the other half. Used to be a castle.

Wonderful views, nice temple...just a little under maintained.
