This temple is closely connected with Shingensyu and Soudosyu. And now it is said that it’s popular as the god of matchmaking. Please be careful to go up and down the steep stairs.

A very traditional temple located next to lake Hamanako.

Another pleasant surprise to discover our ryokan is located at the famous Kanzanji-Ji temple. It was a nice climb to the hill, it is one loop if you follow the foot path and a great view of the Hamana Lake. There are many awesome sights along the foot path, the gigantic big Sho Kanzeon Bosatsu Mt. Tateyama, a small mountain; Goddess of Mercy (Guan Shi Yin Pusa), various Buddha stones along the footpath with stacked stones. It was a very enjoyable stroll.

This is a perfect place not only for those who would like to unwind, but also for those would like to reconnect with nature and its Creator. Beautiful place with scenic view on the top overlooking the Hamanako lake. The big image of Buddha on the top of the hill is really impressive. A good place also for a little hiking with a picnic.

Small temple. A bit too quiet.
