Great place to take your family and friends to. The line for the rope line to go up the mountain can get busy and crowded so plan accordingly. However, the line is consistently moving. There is a small fee to take the rope line but inexpensive. The park on top is interesting as there is a shop where you can take a bite from walking. They sold There is a also a shrine further up the mountain but we did not go.

It’s a shame tourists don’t respect the place they go and just litter! The place is beautiful if you ignore the rubbish. You can see Mount Fuji as well as most of kawaguchiko! Heaps of photo opportunities and gifts you can buy. Remember, take only photos, leave only memories. Remember to pick up your rubbish!

What a beautiful lake by the park overlooking Mount Fuji. The boat ride is a must giving tourist a full view of the sacred mountain. Take a walk around the lake and you find picturesque spots during the fall.

Very beautiful park with many good views of Mt. Fuji, Lake Kawaguchi and gorgeous forest. There's several places to take photos here and also a shop to buy souvenirs, votive boards, icecream and photos on a swing that make you look like you're flying over the mountains

The most beautiful scenery that I have ever seen in this world. I would spend one or two nights in this place in the future to fully appreciate the surrounding areas. We only spent one hour there after a long train ride from Tokyo station to Kawaguchiko station. I enjoyed looking out the windows during our train ride between the two cities.
