Really touched by the beautiful artwork of Mr. Itchiku displayed in this well thought out place, which immediately transformed me to a higher state of mind and kept inspiring me during the visit. Nice view to Mt. Fuji, sublime garden. Do watch the intro video if you have 20 mins to spare as it helped set the scene. Staffs were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended to pay a visit, it’s easy to get to by a bus, and it’s so worth it!

Such a unique find! A lovely collection of a single artist's work. His kimono designs are magnificent and the location is stunning. There is also a small tea room (I didn't visit this!) In the grounds you can spend time in.

I came into this experience not knowing about Itchiku Kubota and his artwork. I left being in awe and inspired. The gallery, artwork, and facility are all amazing. I could feel the positive energy upon first walking onto the property. Highly recommend coming here, even if you do not know much about this artist. Make sure to watch the great informative video on his works and the process going onto them. Great place to have come hot cocoa or tea after and relax.

This small museum had one of the most breathtaking collections I ever saw in my life. Kubota Itchiku's hand dyed kimonos are gorgeous, the details and imagery superb. Ended up buying the book! As for the installations the place surrounded by nature is beautiful, and we had a lovely coffee and tiramisú at the museum's caffe.

Breathtaking. The museum itself is a work of art, and its contents are a labour of love that deserves to be seen. It's a bit far from the station, but there is a direct bus (the Red Sightseeing) from the station. It's absolutely worth it!
