A must visit when in Osaka. Food may be priced higher and may not be the top notch choice with locals but it is still definitely a great place to sample different snacks all housed in one easy to navigate place. Definitely a good way to be introduced to Osaka and Japanese cuisine and a place not to be missed especially if you are a first time visitor. Easily accessible by subway. Good to reserve 2 hours to roam around and try different types of food.

Food is pretty good with lots of variety of seafood and steak but extremely over prices as it is a big tourist attraction. We spent $70 dollars on a rice bowl. My advice is to look around first then decide what to grab as each spot varies in quality and price.

Kuromon Market is a must-visit destination for any food lover visiting Osaka. During my recent trip to the city, I had the pleasure of exploring this bustling market and I was blown away by the variety and quality of the offerings. The market is a feast for the senses, with colorful stalls teeming with fresh seafood, local produce, and delectable street food. From giant crabs to melt-in-your-mouth sushi, there is something to please every palate. It was an absolute delight to witness the skill and passion of the vendors as they prepared and presented their mouthwatering creations. In addition to the incredible food, the market also offers a glimpse into the vibrant local culture. The friendly and welcoming atmosphere creates a lively and energetic ambiance that is infectious. It was a joy to interact with the vendors, who were more than happy to share their knowledge about the products and offer recommendations. I highly recommend allocating ample time to explore Kuromon Market, as there is so much to see and sample. Whether you're a seasoned foodie or simply looking to indulge in a culinary adventure, this market is a true gem that should not be missed.

We had the best time exploring Kuromon Ichiba Market for its incredible food stalls and Japanese souvenirs. We ordered an extra large shrimp and a king crab claw to dine-in at the bustling Kuromon Sanpei restaurant. You can either eat it as is or have it barbecued, and we chose the latter option. The texture of the prawn was quite firm, but taste was pretty standard. The king crab claw, however, was very meaty and slightly salty (like the sea). Highly recommend!

Went on a Sun morning. Was surprised it wasn’t that crowded. Great variety of fresh seafood options. Fruits were huge, fresh and reasonably priced. Most stores are small and squeezy. Be prepared to buy your food and stand at a corner to consume.
