Perri in the last week

Kushida Shrine is a place with a history spanning over 1,200 years, dating back to the year 757 AD. Every building is filled with traces of its rich past. It is conveniently located just a short drive from the airport, making it definitely worth a visit.

Cherry blossoms have arrived (07.03) at this lovely temple steps away from shopping streets and popular restaurants. Compact yet offers everything & always peaceful.

Very accessible shrine to visit in Fukuoka. Not as crowded as other famous shrines in Tokyo and you could still walk around and have your own space. Very well decorated but doesn’t seem like a tourist destination. I guess Fukuoka is just a more quiet and peaceful city.

Beautiful shrine. I visited past 3am on New Year's day. The shrine was bustling with street stalls and (mainly) Japanese people undergoing their first shrine visit of the year, as is customary.
