Not a very big aquarium, but its still nice to visit and can see big sea turtles. Overall 4 stars!!!

On the small size but the open air sea turtles are mesmerizing, lovely underwater observation (base ticket) and boat tour (additional charge). There is a bus shuttle to the near by town train station where you have full access to city amenities.

There are lots of marine park in japan… I’ve been to some other places but maybe there’s still a lot that I haven’t been to…

It’s a pretty standard Japanese cafeteria and gift shop.

This aquarium is not big, honestly, compared to Osaka Kaiyukan, etc. The good thing about this place is, you can touch baby sea turtles! Kushimoto is like the home of those turtles and people there take care of them.
