I would like to visit May and October again. It’s a very quiet garden and we enjoyed amazing Darjeeling tea at tea house.

Wide and beautiful Japanese garden. Lots of people come during fine weather for sunbathing. Admission ticket ¥150 open from 9 AM but the old house open at 10:30 AM.

We came across these truly beautiful gardens quite by accident after visiting the nearby Earthquake Science Museum. It was the stone garden wall that piqued our curiosity, otherwise we would not have known they were there. Entry for seniors was only 70 yen - our visit there was priceless. So peaceful and tranquil and beautifully maintained. It's not a huge area so it's not overwhelming. Easily accessed by a short walk from either Kaminakazato station (Keihin Tohoku Line) or Nishigahara Station ( Namboku line)

Beautiful gardens, flowers and environmental design. Perhaps to attract more guests there could be a small picnic area with a bin on the platform overlooking the lake, where they can enjoy the cookies and food purchased at the shops on site. Otherwise perfect ambience and fair price. Thank you.
