Kehi no Matsubara is a beach over a kilometer long, lined with some 17,000 Japanese red and black pine trees. There are walking trails here, for year-round views of the green of the pines and the white of the sand, against the blue of the Sea of Japan. It has been nationally designated a Site of Scenic Beauty.

Kehi no matsubara is a very fatastic place. You can enjoy the beautiful beach, sea, mountain and pine forest altogether. There is parking place and japanese style toilet. Hot water is not available here. It is a an awesome place for camping. However c camping isn't allowed here. You can stay here in your car When I visited there, it was snowing. I got the chance of enjoying, snow, beach , sea, pine forest, mountain. Alhamdulillah.

Beach is nice and clean. But WC is dirty! Maybe too many visitors.

Beautiful little beach with nice pine trees further up the shore. Water was very clear, but too cold to swim in May.
