Worth your time, spend max 30 minutes. Not much English signage, but worth it.

One of the most unique things we came across in Japan. Would go out of my way to see it. Crazy to think about the implications this place could have had.

Cold, wonderful place to escape the heat and learn history at the same time. Helmet is provided and a map to guide your way through the 10km tunnel. Some say this place is haunted by the labor force but I went during the morning and didn’t witness any psychic activity.

Honest, heartfelt and very transparent in how they tell the stories that happened in the past. Very kind grandpa who let us in despite arriving only 15mins before it closes at 4. It's TOTALLY FREE to get in.

Old tunnel network built in the second world war for the imperial family and several other critical people and facilities. Nowadays several hundred meters can be accessed where you will come across pitch black side tunnels, a possible bat or two, and an interesting but eery atmosphere, especially if you are alone as far as you can see and hear. I received some English information papers on the history of the place at the reception and there was no fee to enter.
