Pretty interesting museum if you're interested in this regional historical figure. I feel like it gives some depth to our trip to understand this context, and the museum was a series of wax figure tableaus and was reasonably well done, if not perhaps a little aged.

Superb museum displaying the life of Date Masamune plus other important Japanese figures. There are English displays and very easy to follow. Definitely worth a visit.

Really not recommended if you have already read the story or watched drama of Date Masamune. I'd like you spend more time walking along Matsushima bayside, worth a lot.
