Visited the place with our friends. The Mishima Skywalk is a picturesque scenery spot where you can see Mt. Fuji from a gigantic suspension bridge. A total length of 400m, it is Japan’s longest pedestrian suspension bridge. It is recommended that you visit in the mornings or evenings. Mt. Fuji and the ocean (Suruga Bay) are especially beautiful around nine in the morning when the temperature is low. You can also enjoy the beautiful sunset from October to February. Experience thrilling activities at Forest Adventure! On the Long Zip Slide, you can experience the exhilarating feeling of gliding in the air 70m above ground for 300m while gazing at Mt. Fuji

We can enjoy the beautiful view of Mount Fuji from the huge suspension bridge. The suspension bridge is 400 meters long and is the longest suspension bridge in Japan exclusively for tourists. On the other side of the suspension bridge, there is an owl cafe. There is one at the door to greet people, but if we want to interact with the owls, guests can pay an entrance fee and enter the cafe to take photos with the owls and pet them.

This bridge is not for the faint of heart. If you are afraid of heights, you will struggle walking across. It does sway a bit and on a windy day, it can be a little unsettling. The views are amazing- especially at sunset! There are quite a bit of things to do on the other side of the bridge- it is easily an all day adventure! There is a place to eat and several food truck type vendors as well. Plenty of parking and dogs are welcome, but they have to be able to fit in a carriage for crossing the bridge.

The view of mt. Fuji from the bridge and surrounding area was breathtaking. Also the weather was quite sunny so the ice cream (500 yen) was quite nice to have on that day. The south side of the bridge has afew attractions such as an animal petting cafe(rabbits, hedgehogs and owls)and some outdoor activities. As well as the bluepea ice-cream shown in the picture.

This is a very nice pedestrian bridge with a great view of Mt. Fuji. You definitely won’t be disappointed. There are plenty of shops and restaurants there as well several photo spots. There is plenty to do in the area so you could easily spend a day there. They have zip lining, Segway rentals, mountain bike rentals, 4 wheeler rentals just to name a few. I just went to walk across the bridge, ate some food and took pictures and I felt it was worth the trip. I recommend the blue soft serve ice cream. Check it out if you’re in the area.
