Beautiful small shrine but none of the explanations of the museum are in English or any other European language so I don't think I got value for the 650¥ entrance fee.

It’s not worth the 650 yen entrance fee (which is mostly for the museum) just wait until 5 pm and entrance will be free. Be aware if you pay for the entrance fee and go to the Museum things will not have English translation. The shrine Itself is pretty and worth looking, but wait until 5pm

Loved it, very well organised and the leaflet with information on it was handy. Great experience

Nice place to see the lantern decoration esp. during lantern festival. You can watch the mask change dance at night time. But I think after the festival they will not have the show.

I can only speak of this Shrine during the Nagasaki Lantern festival for Chinese New Year. This Shrine was definitely the place to be to experience the different and yet blended cultures. The crowds were dense as would be expected but may also be the same during better weather months. There's a museum also attached to the shrine which was a nice addition to the overall experience. At the time admission was free.
