Amazing pottery, of many different styles. A consignment store of MANY local artists. Mostly pottery pieces, but WOW. Amazing skill, at a variety of styles and types of pottery. The craqueleur on the pieces is outstanding! Perfect glazing, pretty, delicate and amazingly thin pieces, to large and bold. We ended up buying 7 individual pieces, there were some sets. They were able to ship the more expensive pieces back to the USA for us for a reasonable price. A very good experience. Language barrier was negligible with Google translate. Well done!

Experience the traditional Japanese house. The tatami is great. Toilet is available too.

Nestled in the heart of Nara's historic district, Naramachi Nigiwai-no-le is a charming old house that offers a delightful glimpse into the traditional lifestyle of Japan's past. During my recent visit to Nara, I stumbled upon this hidden gem and was captivated by its nostalgic charisma.
