Lovely park. There's also a noodle restaurant where you can get delicious soba or udon for extremely cheap (about ¥700) as well as ice cream.

Beautiful and huge park in the Nikko. It had dedicated campsite, BBQ area, playing area with good collection of activities for kids. Recommended. There is also a market (with local food items such as honey, jam, eggs etc.) and few food shops. Free onsight parking is available.

Absolutely my favorite park in Japan. There is a big pond that reminds me of Monet’s pond in france in early summer time. They have such a beautiful view of the mountains and the landscape is designed so well.

One of the best camping ground at Nikko. There's a lot of spaces available with very accessible and good clean shower areas, washing areas, bathrooms... We have stayed in the auto camp area wherein your car is parked beside your tent area... there are also the free tent area as well as some cottages available.. Supermarkets are also near like Aeon and others...

Nikko Daiyagama park was absolutely stunning place! I went to the park first time in March and it was beautiful. I spotted even a turtle in the little pond! The park is a great place to go spend some time with family or friends and children love it too! In the summer time it is a great place to barbeque. The area is so big so I am sure you can come up with something to do.
