I got a chance to visit. expectation. Only the castle tower and watchtower are luxuriously decorated, the interior has been restored, and the world of Dairoktenmaou is overflowing. Although this is just a reconstruction, it is still impressive. However, since there is only this one point, is this really all there is? It is true that there is a feeling that this is the case. The stay time is not very long. After watching Luis Frois' movie, shall we head towards the Honmaru? At the reception desk inside the building, you can learn about shortcuts to Azuchi Castle. There are vehicle height restrictions as it goes under an elevated bridge.

Better not to go, very old and not interesting

The museum is small, but it’s very informative. The English descriptions are limited, but the replica of the Azuchi Castle tenshu is a fantastic model. The workers are also helpful and speak a little English. They have a student discount for admission

I didn’t go in the actual museum as I didn’t have time, but asked to visit the shop only. They were quite willing. I had hoped to find a tenugui of Azuchi castle but lacking that ended up with a pin. They get five stars because of their customer service!

If you want an idea of the power Oda Nobunaga wielded, go see the reproduction of his living suite that was at the top of his castle here, and take in the "VR" tour of the castle. Even after all the temples you might have visitee, quite impressive. Not sure if it's worth it if you're on a blitz tour of Kyoto, though.
