A place where you can enjoy the most Japanese scenery during your trip to Miyazaki. You can visit this place from downtown Miyazaki and head back north to visit must-visits and famous restaurants on Nichinan Beach, including Udo Shrine. A great itinerary for a day tour departing from Miyazaki. There are tickets available at various prices starting at 800 yen at the entrance to Obi Castle. The higher the price, the more places you can enter. Just a basic ticket of 800 yen that allows you to visit 6 places took about 2 hours, and you had to walk a lot to get to the small museum near the bus stop across the moat, but if you don't have enough time, it's a place you don't necessarily need to visit.

No castle, just outer buildings and a small museum. Signage is not bilingual. Cute place but not a true castle to visit

Beautiful and peaceful location about 20 minute taxi from the cruise ship port. Rained all day but that created a different kind of beauty you wouldn't get from a sunny day. Found a really inexpensive restaurant called Hattoritei with an amazing setting and great service. The food was amazing. It was a kaiseki style. Highly recommend it

Valuable place to visit when you come to Miyazaki. You can be there with one day bus ticket and here is last station of local bus of Miyazaki. It is town for nobel people of Japan and you can see their life and trace. I heard history of their people but not so cool for Korean, by the way here is good place to feel Japanese old style of achitecture.

There is nothing really left from the castle but other residents are quite nice 😊 you can buy one-day entrance and see them all. Very good is also the Japanese archery (300Yen). I definitely recommend you to visit the old forest inside castle ruins. Looks like from Mononoke hime anime.
