Big park and right opposite the Sapporo TV tower. It's a popular venue for various festival specially during winter called Sapporo Snow Festival held annually over 7 days in February. You will see fascinating snow and ice stretching throughout the park.

For about 8 blocks in the Odori Park during Sapporo snow festivals, there are a lot of snow sculptures. But honestly speaking I was expecting bigger and better sculptures. Most of these snow sculptures are just human size, only very few are of impressive dimensions.

Definitely come here in December for the Christmas market! Really nice to experience the festive spirit especially when it’s snowing. Illuminations are plentiful as well before Christmas. There were a lot of booths selling German Christmas delicacies, as well as a lot of shops selling various decorations and other small gifts.
