Nice place to drop a visit if you take a walk in town

Rather run down and not very much to do, just a fancy parking lot at the moment. Albeit a parking lot in a convenient location. Most memorable thing i did here was feed some cats. I noticed some poor malnourished kittens (one with an eye infection to boot), so I went to the local conbini to get them some kibble. But I really hope they'll be caught and spayed/neutered, because right now they're rather pitiful... Would be cool if the old buildings were restored, and maybe allow people to see the inside architecture of these former wonders.

Beautiful views in the center of the city, but still so peaceful.

Only in Oita for a few days walked around a lot came across this and was interesting. A local was there on hand to explain much history about the Ruins, gave us some postcards too. Interesting to see the markets going on as well.

Near the Oita Station about 15 minutes walking. Small and compact castle ruin with rocks wall still good conditions. Good place for jogging in the morning.
