Former Moji Mitsui Club

Built in 1921, the former Mitsui Company Club at Moji is a two-story wooden building constructed in the half-timber style that served as a lodge where employees could also receive clients. Among the historic building’s esteemed patrons is world-famous theoretical physicist Albert Einstein, who stayed at the club with his wife in 1922. The building is illuminated every evening until 10pm.
