Wanted to go shopping and taste the international foods? You have come to the right place. Besides shopping, there are many things to do around this big shopping center. Surrounded by the main streets, and also close to the train stations with a short walk from the station. You will be happy to come to this beautiful place and make your visit more enjoyable.
A crowded and busy street filled with many shops and restaurants. Compared to the Endoji shopping street, this place is a lot more energetic. There are a wide variety of shops here. A good place to window shop and have a bite to eat. Definitely a place to visit when in Nagoya.
Quite large. Didn’t buy anything here. Ate a 10yen bread that costs 500yen. There are a number of 2nd shops if thrifting is your thing. Overall, ok if you’ve got a couple of house to kill.
This is probably the longest (or biggest) shopping street in Nagoya and it's a great place to visit as there are so many things to see, eat and shop. It's a short walk from Osu Kannon train station.
There are many shops and eateries and surely there will be something that meet your needs and wants. Besides lifestyle products and local souvenirs, there are fashion and clothings, toys, florist, candies and sweets etc, among others here like Daiso and Seria. Also, there are second hand shops selling used fashion and the Japanese traditional costumes, the Kimono, watches, handbags etc. Prices here are generally reasonable and cheaper than elsewhere.
As we were there on a Sunday, everywhere was very crowded. Besides those mentioned above, you can also visit the Osu Kannon Guanyin Temple towards the end of the street, another iconic landmark that worth a photostop!
Do make sure you allocate sufficient time here!
Wide selection of shotengai in this shopping area. It's walking distance from the station but you can easily take the bus. You can use ic card on the bus. Went in the early evening and there were still lots of people around and stores were open. Lots of food options to choose from as well ascafe and coffee options. Good place for taking photos and also for soaking up a great atmosphere.
