There isn't much to see when it comes to the castle itself. Only some walls standing and the rest have been converted to a park with a small pond. However the views from here especially on the river and mountains are really nice and worth climbing if you are nearby.

It was a pretty cool place !!! They are looking for old photos or paints with clues of how this place looked in an effort to reconstruct the castle that once stood here over a 100 years ago

it's a pity that by the time we arrived in the day we could only see the uncles working restless in preparation of hanging up the lanterns for the upcoming crowds to see the blooms of sakura at night! the flowers hadn't bloomed yet! i could imagine the view with all the pink filling up the spaces between the spectators and the skies... remark: one star had been deducted due to having to walk up all the way with a sprained ankle which i got on the 1st day of my trip. oops!
