Beautiful garden and landscaping. Similar to Ryoanji in Kyoto but with fewer people

Beautiful, well kept Zen garden that is very much worth a visit. Good weather will improve the experience.

Beautiful and quiet place in a quiet neighborhood. The structure of the buildings speaks the beauty hidden in its rich history.

This temple has a beautiful zen garden and I was glad to visit but the garden is very small and the temple does not have much things to see.

One of the most famous temples around this area. Best known for its garden (which is undoubtedly beautiful but relatively small). It is almost an hour away from the nearest station and you need to take a bus if you don't have a car. My opinion is that you might better spend your day in Hamamatsu doing something else closer to the station than come all the way to this place but if you love Japanese temples and their gardens, then definitely do pay a visit.
