We enjoyed visiting this place. The history was fantastic. The video in the main hall is played in multiple languages so we got to enjoy the video which explained the sake making process. At the end of the tour, there were 2 sakes we could try which we nice, but other places on our sake tour had 3 or 4 sakes to try. Would recommend visiting this place just to see the history behind sake.

Good explanation with some English wording too. Now we know that making sake is much a long process. There is sake testing too.

Great place with nice video in english at the beginning, Museum describing all the tools and process for sake making. And to finish, sake tasting for visitors, good Museum. We went there near the closing time, but you can stay there around 2hours.

Back to Kobe for the second part of my sake breweries tour. This is Day 2 of exploration which I went solo. Day 1 was the first 3 breweries that I visited last year to buy some goodies I want to bring back. This one was one of the furthest of the few breweries in the area so quite difficult to visit all 6-7 of them at once since they close early in the evening too. Anyways, nice small shop. Recommendations of the day were umeshu and nama genshu. Some Valentine's chocolates too.

Interesting sake museum with real old school sake making tools on display. There is a 10 minutes introduction video in Japanese and English. There are 2 kinds of wine to take at the end of the tour. Lots of yummy otsumami to taste at the gift shop. Very friendly usher personnel. Not very crowded on a Friday afternoon.
