Very nice aquarium with tons of exhibits. Recommended to come in time for the Shows (Can refer to the website for the schedule). Tickets cost 2,400yen for adults.

The aquarium building has rides for children nearby, making it an ideal location for family recreation, couples, or solo trips.

The fish were beautiful, the seahorses were lovely, but I was very sad to see how little space the turtles had - they could not swim and the white and black dolphins deserved more space and the otter deserved some friends.

Pretty decent aquarium despite it is being smaller compared to other aquariums in Japan. The daily show is top-notch, and definitely could not be missed if you want a full and satisfying experience. The only downside is the condition of the displays. Some of them are dirty, and some of them are heavily condensed, making it hard to see or observe the animals. Routine maintenance and cleaning of the display are needed.

The aquarium of Sendai. There's shuttle bus from the nearest JR Station, which is really sweet for tourists. Good size and space for the kid to enjoy under water world. Many variety of marine life to observe, very educational part of our trip. We had the live noon show with dolphins and sea lions. Perfect crowd size for a week day. There's also a cafe available by the end of the tour where you could refresh with some food. Recommend to purchase your e-ticket online, it's cheaper too.
