Visited after the rain on November 3rd. The autumn leaves of the maple leaves were beautiful. It looked like they were preparing for a snow enclosure.

I went to a guitar concert. The garden was beautiful and there were people taking pre-wedding photos. Apparently they also hold calligraphy classes from time to time, so I thought it would be nice to participate in such an event while looking out at the lovely garden.

This facility is managed by the prefecture. It was previously a private residence. Needless to say, Mr. Hattori, who was active in a wide range of transportation and information fields, lived here in Yamagata Prefecture. I heard that before that, the national facilities were much larger. The building has been renovated and is of great design. Basically, it seems to be provided as a place for a wide range of activities for the citizens of the prefecture. I visited to admire the Japanese garden. The gardener is Mr. Kotaro Iwaki, and his uncle is the famous 7th generation Mr. Jihei Ogawa. The splendor of its outstanding circuit-style rocky mountain spring garden is as expected. No matter how many times you visit, it will never lose its freshness.

Small and cute Japanese garden The overall design is exquisite and the staff is very friendly Let us stay in the most beautiful side teahouse for almost 30 minutes, quietly admiring the carefully crafted winter garden landscaping. I happened to come across a Noh performance in the performance space next to it. We took the opportunity to listen to music and watch the flowing water on the bridge Very relaxing and comfortable

I didn't go inside this public facility, but wandered around its lovely garden for about an hour even though it's not actually so large. It was created by famous garden designer Sentaro Iwaki and contains over 30 types of plants and a variety of discoveries in a compact area. The name of this place translates to 'wash the heart' and that's exactly what it feels like. Even better, it's uncrowded and free!
