I lovely place to walk or sit and enjoy the clean and peaceful Shinmachi riverside. There are some charming pieces of art: "Aquarium in the Sky" (空の水族館) and a torii-shaped stone sculpture that frames aview of Mt. Bizan, as well as the bridges of various designs that are lighted at night. Some restaurants on either side. Occasional events on the boardwalk.
