Cool shrine with a 2,100-year history. We learned a lot about the painstakingly long process of urushi restoration and maintenance of shrine buildings. Urushi trees take at least 15 years to grow and only produce 200 ml of urushi in the end 😱 But this is a historical site and so the government will endure the cost. Unfortunately, the main hall is under renovation for the next 5 years! But we got a special tour to peek inside.

Nice shrine with a history linked to the Tokugawa - there is also a good view of Fuji, if you can walk up the hill

This place is a old temple in Japan. Huge area covered with the statues buildings and other Buddhist and other Japanese god's. This place located front of a mount. Very wonderful experience. Most of peoples came here. Popular place in shizuoka city

One of my favorite places to go and take time to think. There's an abundance of places if you truly take time to look around. I recommend climbing all the way to the top of the mountain. The view is beautiful.
