Lovely place with a huge variety of Bonsai trees and a pretty Koi pond. You can also see some of the traditional Japanese house from the inside. I was lucky enough to get some explanation about the trees from one of the students living there - thanks for that! ❤️

The best place of Bonsai in Tokyo. They have so many amazing trees. The place has so much of the Japanese culture. This is not only a museum but also a workshop so expect to see the real deal and not only a display. Definitely a must for your visit to Japan.

One of my top experiences in Tokyo so far! It’s like a sanctuary of peace and calm just outside of central Tokyo. I learnt so much about Japanese culture, architecture and bonsais, thanks to Hugo, who took the time to answer any questions I had and share his extensive knowledge.

Cute little Bonsai Museum. We were given a tour of the main trees in the garden and the exhibitions inside by a very nice italian apprentice. We learnt a lot about bonsais and got some green tea at the end (included in the ¥1000 entry fee). It’s a small place so don’t expect to stay here for hours. I liked it and I thought it was a good experience.

The Bonsai museum is stunning! It has a ¥1000 entrance fee. The museum I quite small, so as I walked around the area, I felt as though I had to be extra careful so I wouldn't accidentally knock anything over... I personally wouldn't be able to stay at the museum for more than an hour to an hour and a half. However, I can say that despite its small space, each little tree felt as though it had been meticulously maintained for many years. Some trees are even 100+ years old! I would go again, but I would definitely plan other activities for the day.
