Zen temple dating to the 1500s, with a main fountain, sliding doors, plum trees & a bell tower.

Sōun-ji

The area is nice and compact but most importantly I guess, especially to Sengoku fans, is the resting place of the 5 Hōjō warlords of the Hōjō clan.

It was an extremely beautiful place especially while raining, it built up in spots that seemed like it was meant to have the rain there the whole time

A peaceful temple with gardens on the highs of Hakone.

Great off-the-beaten-path place to check out. Informational, interesting, historic. Just be careful to follow signs and be aware of "no entry" areas.
