I love the refreshing atmosphere of the shrine. A shrine that is large, splendid, and likely to bring blessings is ideal. It would be even more ideal if the shrine is rich in nature, with many large trees in the precincts and guardian forest. This shrine is exactly that kind of shrine. There are so many trees that it is tempting to ask which one is a sacred tree, or perhaps there are many.

I visited Susano-ojinja Shrine, a popular Tenjin shrine located in Takasaki City with its lush green grounds. Pass through the large torii gate to the approach, and from the Nino torii gate to the shrine. There are also tours of goshuin stamps and Kamitama (divine balls). When I see things like this, I want to visit them all. There is a pamphlet. You can also see peacocks. Unfortunately, I was not able to see it with its wings spread wide. I received two New Year's stamps. There is also a mysterious cedar tree called ``twisted cedar'' nearby.

I visited there in July. They had birds in their garden. I was very lucky to have a chance to see a peacock spreading his wings. There were several peacocks including white ones. It was just amazing, Incredibly beautiful and gorgeous like an angel.
