Visited on November 8, 2023 Art museum by Taiji Harada, an illustration artist from Nagano It is built on the shore of Lake Suwa, and if you rent a bicycle from Kamisuwa, you can enjoy the scenery while riding on the cycling road of Lake Suwa, so it feels very cool 🚲 Inside the museum, you can take a leisurely look at Taiji Harada's works, and at the special exhibition on the first floor, there was also an exhibition of Mayumi Takahashi's dolls, which was really fun♫ There is a tea room on the second floor overlooking Lake Suwa, and the quince tea you can drink while looking at Lake Suwa is delicious☕

I loved this museum, there was so much character in the artist that shines through his pieces. I won a book in a survey raffle as well.

I saw Taiji Harada's paintings on TV and thought, ``I like them,'' so I went to the art museum. I watched a video about his early life and how he created his paintings, and it became clear to me that he was able to create them in this way. The exhibits were truly soothing. It was great to be able to see the real thing. I took a break while looking at Lake Suwa at the attached cafe, and I was moved to tears by the work that included dolls that were being held at the same time. I wanted to talk to her because of her rich facial expressions. I'm glad I went.

Great art museum. Detailed art from many Japanese locations, contemporary and life studies of days past. Harada san, in spite of Polio, travelled the world, expanding his subject options
