It took me awhile to figure out how the bus route to get there. However, it’s worthy.

The pond looks great with a large park where kids can play joyfully!

Very good spot to absorb the view of Mt Iwate over the pond. Peaceful and relaxing. Note that the sun would set over the Mt in the evening, so it might be better for photographers to avoid the sunset.

Very beautiful lake in Morioka. The lake is frozen during winter and you can see swans in the lake. It's one of place to visit if you in Morioka

We were leaving Morioka and thought we had time for a short walk, but we didn't realize how large this place is! The park is gorgeous and the view is amazing. We will be back to walk the full trail.
