It took 20 minutes to walk from Takaoka Station. It is located in the Kanayamachi Traditional Buildings Preservation District. While I was looking at the exhibit intently, I was given a booklet called ``Takaoka Kaitai Shinsho: Casting Edition.'' It seems that the exhibition is based on this. The exhibit clearly explained the history of Takaoka castings: the beginning of Takaoka castings → the expansion of Takaoka castings and Kitamae ships → the blossoming of Takaoka copperware → the Takaoka Great Buddha, the symbol of Takaoka, the city of copperware → the revival and prosperity of Takaoka copperware. The production tools and products of Takaoka castings are part of the Japanese Heritage Site, ``Takaoka, the town where the culture of the townspeople connected to the Kaga Maeda family blooms.'' Japan Heritage is not a ``World Heritage Site in Japan,'' but is one recognized by the Agency for Cultural Affairs. They are found all over the country, and Toyama Prefecture has three stories.

At first, you watch the video which explains how to make casting wares. Then you watch the casting metal works actually.Of course you can touch them. Outside you can see the fountain square and take a rest.

Despite being a small museum, the exhibits were diverse and abundant, from the history of Kanaya-cho, a foundry town, to the history of foundry technology, to information about modern craftsmen. You can watch videos of the actual process, and you can also view works from the oldest to the most recent. There were also paper materials that you could take home with you, so although it was small, it was quite fun and satisfying.

``Admission fee: 300 yen'' ``Tatara stepping experience'' ``Many of the local anime bronze statues in Japan are produced by Kanaya Town'' ``Top share in Japan's copper castings'' This is a museum that introduces Japan's leading copper casting town. The hall is quite small, and the main feature is a 15-minute video. There are not many exhibits, but there are displays of copper in various colors. The staff will guide you. It seems that many of the bronze statues set up on the streets of local anime around the country are from Kanayacho. We have created famous characters such as Kochikame, GeGeGe no Kitaro, Detective Conan, Doraemon, and Sazae-san. The company also undertakes the restoration of the Nagasaki Peace Statue. Although it is a small museum, you can learn important information. [Free parking lot] Back park parking lot #letsguide #Japan's best

It's a townscape that smells like the Showa era. There is a phoenix sculpture on the river bridge that serves as the entrance to the town, adding to the excitement of traveling. The building has tourist information about Takaoka City and can also be used as a rest area. There are various objects on the streets of Kanayamachi that you can enjoy.
