Don't forget to take this bridge on your way to Arashiyama Bamboo Forest. You can ride a boat or kayak for a fee and there are people offering tourists for a rickshaw ride. We didn't get to try any of those because we were content at just hanging out by the bridge, captivated by its beauty. If you ever find yourself near Arashiyama, make sure to pause and admire this stunning bridge.”

River was full of life during February! We saw lots of ducks dipping their heads to hunt for fishes. Absolute cuties!

One of the best things to do at Arashiyama is to cross this old and historically significant bridge. It is so peaceful crossing this bridge with the beautiful sights and the running water in the background. This is the path to take if you are going to the Monkey Park.

Some sights are just so much more amazing in person. This is one of them. The beauty is so much more processed with your eyes than a camera. It was worth every minute. Remember to wear extra layers, it was cold. This was only a step away from bamboo forest, which is also another great site to visit.

A bridge connecting the Arashiyama bamboo forest and the money park. As busy as it gets during the morning as it attracts alot of tourists and locals daily. Both sides has shoplots, you can buy food , snacks and souvenirs as you passed by. River view is awesome and the scenery is fantastic.
