Small oasis of calm! Great little insight into the past history of the castle and the area. Looks like a good place for a jog also.

This park was just within walking distance from the railway station. Visitors were free to enter. Inside the park area, there were some buildings including sports centre, training school, etc. Trees were planted everywhere. Along the riverside, the trail was covered by cherry trees, making the place very beautiful like a pink tunnel. Couples dressed in traditional clothes liked to take pictures here. Other facilities for children and adults were also found.

A kind man running a stationery shop nearby the park told our group that the sakura will be in full bloom by April — and some of the trees are already starting to bloom near the river and alongside a street. There are also playgrounds all over the park, so have fun exploring!

Great place to take your kids and not worry about them running out into a busy street. My son and I explored the beautiful nature in the park and then went to the playground and played some more. Easily spent 4 hours here playing and exploring! ♥️

Fantastic place for take a break out side of the city. Beautiful park with a lot of nature and place for walk or run. Honestly I don't found some info panel in English. But maybe im blind. On top of the hill in the center there is a fantastic view. All tokushima city. Mt.Bizan the river and the ocean ! Amazing for explore in relax in the nature.
